Just got another "Overstock Extreme" email from Soma. Picked up a polished New Albion triple crankset (48/36/26) for $28 + $15 shipping.

I bought two as well. Why?? I don't have a bike to put them on and prefer 152mm arms, now I have two extra cranks. Whelp! 🤷

Well Joe, they are cheaper than a set of chainrings so not hard to justify! For me, it means I can donate those superb old Shimano square taper cranks in 175 which I am unlikely to use, but just can't let go of.

Super tempting, but I already have a NA crankset from the last sale ("only" 65% off) sitting on my shelf.

FYI, these say "XD2" on the back of the arms.

I grabbed a set last night after I saw this post. I needed a new set of chainrings and this was less expensive than buying even just the 48t ring by itself! Fantastic timing.
