I am a very happy owner of an AHH and am considering getting a Clem Smith for other types of riding, should one happen to become available near me. However, I've noticed that this is a very long bike, even by Riv standards, and I'm wondering if it could even fit in the space I have. Could someone with a 59 cm frame size Clem give me the total length from the front of the front tire to the back of the rear tire?

thanks!

They are long. Back of the envelope math is 82 inches, but an owner can confirm.

@Chris,

A 59cm Rivendell Clem Smith Jr L bicycle is nearly 80 inches long. Specially, it is 78.6 inches long, which is 191.77cms. That's measurements are from the outside of front and rear tires.

Edit: Specifically not specially.

Hey Kim, what does that make the actual wheel base? My napkin maths would have it at 124cm, which is on 6m longer than my XL Nor'Easter

@Damon,

Having sold my 59cm Clem in the fall of 2023 and purchased a 52cm Clem, of which I am currently riding, I can tell you my wheelbase measurement is approximately near 50" or 127cm.
