Hi all,

I'm looking for a road frameset (or possibly complete bike) in the 62-68 cm range. I have particular interest in Rambouillets or Redwoods but other, similar bikes of any era with a Rivish sensibility on tire clearance and bar positioning would also be welcome.

Some background, I ride a ~2018 Sam mostly now, and while it's a great all-rounder or 'if you could only have one' type of bike, I just don't need the extra versatility it provides most of the time and, on the occasions I do, I end up wishing it had bigger tires. So, rather than throwing cash into a weight loss program and likely futile and expensive attempt to make it something it's not, I've decided just to look for something else.

If you are interested in trading for said Sam (62, 2TT, canti, sage) I'm willing to explore that avenue. Otherwise happy just to purchase.

Thanks!

Kind of low brow for this bunch, but I have a Windsor Tourist frameset for sale, 64cm size:

It's a typical pretty generic Taiwanese frame, canti brakes, room for 35mm tires and fenders, at least, and despite the "Tourist" moniker, a pretty average tubing gauge.

$225 OBO

I have the following to offer from a build I had planned but now have too many projects:
1987 Trek 560 Pro Series
25.5" Frame (65cm C-T)
Reynolds 531 tubing
Custom powder coat and decals in original Trek style
Chris King GripNut headset
$250+ shipping OBO

Optional additions would discount for a package deal:
Mavic Cosmos blue anodized wheelset - $200
Shimano Ultegra BR-6700 brakes - $65
Thomson Elite Seatpost - $60
Brooks Swift Titanium Saddle NEW - $250  (One pictured has been sold, but I have another new in box)

Tire clearance may be lacking for your desires. Pictured are 28mm tires, but the rear should likely run a 25mm as the clearance at the brake bridge is almost non-existent.

I have a 68cm single top tube A. Homer Hilden that  I would trade or sell.   I currently have it torn down for a cleaning and new consumables but could get you some photos if interested.

Thanks for the responses! think I'm looking for the niche in between the Windsor and the Trek there. The new powder coat and decals on the Trek look great though, Neal.

The old style Homer is interesting--I'll likely pm. I'll have to take a look at the geo as it might even be too big. Riv really takes care of the tall folks like nobody else.
