ISO silver outer chainring guard

For my Silver crankset, big enough for a 40t ring - Silver or Blue Lug preferably. Anyone holding or have any leads? Riv has been out of stock for awhile now, and Analog only has the BL’s in black. Not willing to pay for shipping from Japan, either. Thanks! -Steven A

You can make your own from an old chainring that's about 4-5 teeth larger than the ring you will be using it with. Hacksaw the teeth off roughly and smooth with a file. Here's one I made from an old 42t Vuelta chainring to go with a 38t large ring.

And if you have one that is anodised black, it's pretty quick and easy to remove the anodising to get to the bare aluminium. I've done that in the past with components that had been anodised wierd colours: https://lixbmx.com/de-anodising.
