I thought I had one when I was collecting parts, but now I'm looking for a front derailleur for my Appaloosa. 28.6 clamp.  I'm using the wide low 38-24 silver double and a 9 speed cassette.  Apparently Shimano has discontinued the ones Riv sold and they are searching for something else.  Any suggestions?  This is only my second time building a bike from parts so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Riv was putting these on some builds, it may be the discontinued one you're thinking of.

Or ask Riv if they have any Campy Mirage triple mechs left. They sold me one for my custom recently, but I'm not sure it was ever listed on the site.

Keith,

I have one I just took off my 2016 Appaloosa, the same one on Riv's website, but in silver. If interested, can you PM me?

I am using a SunTour Superbe Pro with 46/30 on my new bike. I was surprised that after checking all the in-stock current FDs my builder found that one from my collection did a better job.

Works very well and is silver. Friendlier to frame clamp compared to the Mavic and Simplex units in the stash.

My 2015 Sam came with a 9-speed cassette and a wide low 40/26 crank. The derailleur was a Shimano Claris FD-2400 B clamp-on.
I replaced it when I went to a 3-speed front crank, but is this what you’re looking for?  I still have it, but it was on the bike for 2 years.  So, not new.
