The time has come for Samwise Hillborne and I to part ways as he has become redundant in my herd.

I purchased Samwise from the now-defunct Wheelhouse in LA just before the pandemic.  It is a fantastic bike and rides perfectly.  A couple of beausage marks on the paint where I mistook Sam for a mountaineer are the only blemishes.  No dents.  Message me for closeups if you are concerned.

I am 5'9" with a PBH of 80 and this Sam fits me perfectly.  With the sloping top-tube there 's grace either way.

One Caveat: the VO hammered fenders that you see here DO come with the bike, but they DO NOT quite spin with the Fatty Rumpkin tires that come with the bike.  Both are beautiful and both are in the pics because you are getting them both.  That is a Sophie's Choice I will leave you to make when you assemble the bike.

Here is the build and everything that comes with it:
-Albatross Bars w/ cork grips and blue Newbaums wrap.
-Shimano thumbies w Paul clamps
-Shimano Tiagra brake levers
-Nitto Technomic stem
-Rich Lesnik-built 650b Atlas wheels with LX hubs
-VO Hammered Fenders
-Shimano Deore Rear Derailleur
-Tektro 559 Side-pull brakes
-Rivendell Silver double cranks
-Monarch Lambda pedals
-Brooks B67 Honey brown leather sprung saddle
-Fatty Pumpkin 41.5mm tires with a lot of life left on them.

Price is $1750, plus shipping.

Willing to ship anywhere, but on your dime.  I have a local bike shop wizard who can handle it and ship with UPS, or you can set something up.  Let's talk.

Correction:
That is a BELT leather saddle, made in Tokyo.  I had the Brooks on there so long, I forgot I switched it.

Correction 2:
Sugino Cranks, not Rivendell Silvers.

Thanks, AL!  Matt @HobobHubWorks here in STL has an incredible space to do his bike restoration work, as well as a keen eye for photographs.
