I emailed Will to inquire about the shipping of the Demo Large Gus I purchased.

He replied that Mark and James are working on getting the Sams out.
Stephen is working individually on the shipping of all the demos customers took off their hands promptly when they hit the garage sale page!

Everyone's situation may be slightly different but everyone is eager to get bikes to ride, build, or just escape some of the going ons in the world.

I think it is a great approach and assume quickly getting out the non prepped bikes would be much quicker than the prepped ones and obviously full builds.  Anyone getting a full build is lucky to have Mark dialing it in.  Regular mechanics are a plenty, great mechanics are rare, and exceptional one like Mark is worth waiting on.

To all receiving new bikes go forth safely and ride!

Ryan Hankinson (+1 Gus -3 great bikes soon)

I would imagine it gets hectic for some time after a container load of bicycle frames arrives at Rivendell World Headquarters.

Ryan, are you imagining the Gus will be taking the role currently held by three of your bicycles? How are you planning to set it up?

I ask because I built my Wolbis up as a dedicated trail bike mostly, but just riding to and from I  the trails is such a blast that I am contemplating a second wheelset with file tread Antelope 700 x 55 tires. With a bag boy or happy sack I could see it knocking out my El Clem and making room for my Crust Cargo Fork build. But I will more likely build the wheels and keep El Clem, since  it is set up so well for chores and such. I may have to pop the bars a bit higher, though, as I am completely digging the chopper position of my klunker bars on the Large Susie, with its super long head tube.
