Yeah, the 52 Clem is a solid Large.  I ride a 59 Roadeo, a 56 Hillborne, and a 57 Roadini.  I would definitely choose a 52 Clem for myself. 

I have a 53cm Marinoni frameset that you can have for almost free.  PM me if you want to look at it.  It would be more of traditional road bike with maybe 28mm tires.

It's crazy to me that the Clem has such a high standover/PBH.  I had a 52 Hillborne and with the sloping top it was borderline too big for me.  The 52 Clem has an even higher standover than the Hillborne.
