Not sure the moderator(s) will let this through; most of my infrequent posts are on the iBOB list. But if they do here's the deal: I am tall with pretty short legs (I broke Trek's "what size frame should I get" app when I entered my dimensions) and I've always wanted a bike in the 60-62 seat tube range with a longer-than-60-cm top tube, which seems to be the limit for nearly all production frames.  One of the exceptions was the first Hillborne run, which had a 61cm effective TT.  I had a line on one last year that never panned out, meantime I got the Rom, which is a great bike and I will ride it happily but I'm using a long-setback post and a ridiculously long stem and it still feels a little short for me (it has a 59.5 TT).

So if you have a green Hillborne from the first run and wanna trade for a slightly sprightlier bike that is equally rare, let's talk.

Dan, where the snow is almost gone in southern WI

I should add, I am interested in just buying a first gen Hillborne f/f/hs if you have one you’re willing to part with and don’t want my Rom.  Thanks, Dan
