well i bought a suzie 53 with the intention of having my wife ride it.  turns out i like it more and she thinks its too big.
its a wild ride.  it feels so long and stable but then from saddle to bars it feels comfy and small but spacious.  i feel like you dont sit as inside as a clem but im not as on top as my atlantis.  i also feel like im higher up then on my atlantis (i think its got a high bottom bracket?)
i took it on my normal wildcat to tilden route and it was an absolute blast.  it climbs hills well and goes down just as easy and absolutely handless the chunder dirt.  im loving this thing

It is so delightful to read how this accidental bike turned out to be the perfect bike for you. Love the color, love the story, and your wife will still get another chance at NBD! Where will you do? What will you do? There is no telling!

That is a fine bicycle, Ben. Yes it does have a higher bottom bracket than other Rivs, plus can run bigger tires. It should be awesome in that area you ride, enjoy!

Nice job, Ben!

I recently was able to get my first Rivendell back, a first generation large Susie, and I can totally relate to your elation of spending time with these wonderful machines.

Enjoy your new steed, and I'll echo Leah's sentiment that we can't wait to see what you turn up for your wife to fill it's place ;)

OOOooohhhhh that bike is so pretty! I can't wait to see how it feels to ride on that trail compared to the Atlantis. And now people won't mix us up in public when we ride together!
