FS: VINTAGE COMPONENTRY:

1.    One set of used vintage white Bluemel 700C f/r fenders with an extra NOS Bluemel 700C white rear fender with twelve used Bluemel fender struts and hardware and small reflector - $80.00, plus shipping

2.   One pair of NOS Campagnolo Nouvo Record brake levers with new gum hoods. No logos on the gum hoods. - $200.00, plus shipping

3.   One Suntour Cyclone GT rear derailleur in excellent condition - $75.00, plus shipping

Two Suntour 1st generation front derailleurs in good condition - $35.00/each, plus shipping. Buy both for $60.00, plus shipping.

4.  Two matching attachable metal rear underside saddle loops a little tarnish - $10.00, free shipping.

5.   Vintage used 1976 orange Eclipse Professional handlebar bag with a rare Eclipse “Seat-Post Thing” made of cast aluminum.  I recently machine washed the bag after taking out the Mylar support sleeve. I am unable to put it back. Maybe you can ?  The bag has some wear spots and some threading separation. Otherwise, it is very functional. I do not have the map case. The original stabilizing bungees lost their elasticity over the years, thus I have included two small newer bungees. I would like to sell the bag, bracket and the “Seat-Post Thing” altogether for $85.00, plus shipping.

6.  One bike’s worth of used Scott Mathauser brake pad inserts for Campagnolo Nouvo Record brake shoes. - $10.00, free shipping.

7.   NIB/NOS Six speed Suntour freewheel – 14-32T - $140.00, plus shipping.

8.  NOS Christophe black toe straps with two used pairs of Christopher toe clips and hardware with leather pull straps (?)- $50.00, plus shipping.

9.  One Used Silca 21” orange frame pump with leather washers – one new and two used. $45.00, plus shipping.

10. One NOS Wolber 700c 36-hole M58 rim and one used Super Champion 700c 36-hole rim in good condition with side wall wear. I would like to sell both for $75.00, plus shipping.

11. Two used Suntour double down tube cable stops in good condition - $15.00 for the two or $10.00/each, free shipping.

From Peter Alder (Internet BOB):

Thanks, Kim. But a few questions/comments for greater buyer clarification:

1) The Suntour 6-speed derailleur is in a box for an Ultra-6 - IOW, it's a "compact" 6-speed, with six cogs in the space of a standard 5-speed freewheel for use on 120mm OLD rear wheels. Is the freewheel itself an Ultra-6, or is it a standard-spaced 6-speed for a 126mm OLD rear hub (thicker standard cogs, wider spacers) in random packaging?

A 14-32 compact six is really unusual; you typically see compact six freewheels with more racer-y cogs, so that racers could get slightly smaller gaps in gearing. I've got about 4 compact 6 freewheels around (from Suntour and Regina/Atom); none of them have a granny gear bigger than 26T.

2) Is the Super Champion rim a tubular or a clincher? You don't show a photo of the tire interface for either wheel. The Wolber M58 is a clincher, but a large percentage of the Super Champion rims from before the Wolber buyout were tubular, so in the absence of a model name (I'm suspecting it's a Gentleman, from the shape of the faded label), it's worth getting it on the record.

3) The Campy hoods are aftermarket hoods; I don't believe Campy ever made NR/GS hoods with no logo at all. To anyone except the most diehard retro-Fred, that's probably a good thing; anyone who's handled melted/bubbling/petrified 70s Campy hoods knows they're a mess once enough years have stacked up. Many of the newer repops are more satisfactory both cosmetically and functionally; at least you can hold them without felling your skin crawl.

A 14-32 Suntour Ultra6 with a first-generation blackface Cyclone GT sounds like a pretty jazzy Eroica/rough ride pairing for a pre-1980 frame; reliable low gearing without having to replace a pulley cage or spread any dropouts.

From me:

Thank-you, Peter for pointing out some needed details in my for sale items. I appreciate it very much for you as well as others who will come here to look.

1) The Suntour six speed freewheel 14-32T (I recounted the teeth) measures in width 28.6mm wide from outside of the both the inner and outer part of the body of the freewheel. Taking a look between the spacers and cogs, they appear to be more compact compared to a standard five speed freewheel.
To the best of my recollection, the box came with the six speed freewheel off of eBay years ago, when I bought it. The spacing numbers on the box match the count of the cogs on the freewheel.

2) Both rims, Super Champion and the Wolber are clincher, not tubular. The Super Champion rim has no other label indicating that the rim is further identified as being that a "GENTLEMAN" rim.

The widths of the 700c Super Champion rim are:
Outside: 21.8mm
Inside: 16.9mm

The widths of the 700c Wolber M58 rim are:
Outside: 22.2mm
Inside: 16.9mm

3) Yes, the Campy hoods are after-market and are sealed in their own bag without any logo on them.

Hi Peter,

Regarding your first question about the six speed freewheel, I am not totally sure that I answered your question. Thus, the enlarged picture of the backside of the box in hopes that it would help.
