Hi all,

My partner finally gave the green light to upgrade her current commuter with a more purpose built frame. She's currently riding a 1993 MB-1 (smallest size offered), with Jones bars, dynamo wheels, rear rack, fenders etc. At the same time, our son is also getting into MTBing and she wants a MTB to ride with him. I'm planning to build her current MB-1 frame into a dedicated mtb for her and port over all the components from her current build to a more suitable frame. Specifically, I'm excited to get her something with longer chainstays and a kickstand plate. Her priorities are to use as many of the existing parts from her current build on this new build, meaning mainly that I'm sticking with 26" wheels.

Anyone have a small Atlantis or Appaloosa (or any other 26" size Riv frame) available? I've been scouring the internet, ebay, CL, etc. and coming up short.

Thanks!
Mike in MPLS

Hi Mike,

If you're transferring parts, I'm guessing that you're more interested in a frame and fork.  But if a complete might be an option, I recently listed an almost unused 45cm Clem L.  I didn't put up a main for sale post, I just mentioned it on the running craigslist thread.  I should probably amend that.  But anyhow, if a complete might be an option:

Thanks!

Thanks for the offer, though as you suspect I'm only looking for frame/fork.
