Looks like these old 26"ers are getting a lot of love around here this past week. I thought I'd share mine, even though I still have a bit of work to get it to where I want it.

I received this 54.5cm Toyo about two weeks ago, and have slowly been adding and subtracting, with lots of bits mostly acquired from folks in this community. The bike itself was in superb condition. I've taken it on a couple of easy rides because the housing and cables are in dire need of replacing, and I just haven't gotten around to that yet... but it rides like a dream, and seems to fit me really well (I'm 5' 8", with a 83 PBH, riding my saddle height at around 72cm).

I added the RH 1.8" Naches Pass tires (measure at 41mm on these Mavic X717 rims), installed some Berthoud fenders, and added that little Nitto bag support on the rear. Next up is a front rack, some wider Noodles, and a slightly longer stem.

Thanks for lookin'.

Very nice.i guess the tiny rack is for a saddle bag?

Ryan - yes, it's a saddlebag support. Nitto R20 canti; made for 26" wheeled frames. I've grown accustomed to primarily running transverse-style bags (front and back) instead of racks and panniers, so this was a cute little buddy that I felt this bike wouldn't be complete without.

*sorry, that should be Nitto NR 20 mini rack... not R20

Looks fantastic so far!   What stem do you currently have?  I might have something to trade.

Thanks for the offer, Stephen but I already have a stem that I'm considering replacing... but I may also end up sticking with the current stem (60mm Technomic) because I intend to go a little wider on the bars. Going with wider bars AND a slightly longer stem may end up pushing my reach a little too far out, but I'm going to experiment with it.

Man, just built up a bike, but these got me looking to do another (which I can’t afford, unfortunately). Nice looking bike.
