In search of: an old Grant interview

I have been googling every keyword I can think of and coming up dry on this - perhaps someone here remembers the video interview I'm talking about and knows where it is! 

It's an older interview, more than a few years ago now though it could have been anywhere from 2002 to 2018, I don't really remember it well enough. It was in a bike shop setting, there was a storefront behind him.  I recall particularly his comments about how he's not interested in competing with other companies, that he prefers to coexist with other companies that are doing what they're passionate about as well. He went into further detail on this. My memory of what he said has faded a bit but I still think about it a lot and it has always been something I admired about his approach. 

Please help me find it!  Is there a collection of Grant interviews somewhere on the web?  There should be.. google just feeds me the same two or three over and over.

Thanks Jim but it's a different one, pre-pandemic for sure - though he does touch on the same subjects a bit here so no wonder you'd think that's the one!

Are you referring to the video titled "Rivendells Grant Petersen talking about the new Hillibikes at Rivelo in Portland, Oregon (111619)"?
Its the video where he was introducing the Susie Longbolts.
I also could not find it online and could not remember where I saw it.
But I have a downloaded file and its 1.51Gb.

Well, we did make a video of Grant’s talk, and it was posted….somewhere. 

We had an ASL interpreter. The small shop was packed. 

Can’t find it this AM.

Jason, I agree with Ed and John that you’re thinking about the talk at Rivelo where Grant discussed the hillibike. It disappeared from YouTube a few years ago, but good to hear that Ed has it archived.

Ed, are you able to host your file somewhere that we can download it?

I know the one Jason’s referring to. It’s like a “check out this local bike shop” type video and former manager Dave and Riv employee Jenny are in it. I searched YouTube but no luck.

Yes, jamin! Thank you!  From about 5:00 to 7:00 of that vimeo video is what I was thinking about.  Much appreciated. 

And appreciate the other video links as well, nice to be reminded of some I had forgotten about, and even if they weren't the one I was searching for, it's nice to revisit them all the same.

I believe the video in question was made by Jay Ritchey of Bags by Bird among other endeavors :0) 

This was one of the first Riv videos I saw when I got interested in their bikes, it's great!
