I always find the underside of this bridge not far from downtown fascinating.

No troll seen yet.

Someone with a Surly Troll should go snap their Troll here.

I can't seem to find the pictures, but when I lived in Dallas, I took my Troll (gen 1 orange) down there several times.  Here she is behind White Rock on the trail coming up and inP1010569.JPG

The lateral bracing members or the corroded rebar and spalled concrete? That's actually not great looking and might be worth letting the local Department of Transportation know (a little prod from the public about this kind of stuff can sometimes trigger a quick repair, but often times won't).

My Dad just moved to Dallas, actually, keep an eye out for an old guy in his mid 60s riding a 1980s trek 520, ha!

Cheers,

Dave that's a 45T anodized chain ring I bought from Porkchop bmx for around 25 bucks.

Its been working very well so for for around 300 miles or so.

Collin  I'm a fellow old guy with a few years ahead of your Dad.

I'll give a shout out if I see a vintage 520 ride by. It could happen. I pedal all over this area.

I could email that pic to city streets dept.

Thanks for sharing the photos.   I found the School Book Depository Building and the Grassy Knoll to be difficult places for me to visit, as they conjured up painful memories from long ago.

But, on to better stuff.   What pedals are you using?
