Hello all!

I'm looking at some SKS Bluemels for my partner's bike, but they don't have a dedicated 650b size. I'd love to know if anyone has mounted them on a 650b wheel and was able to get nice fender lines.
I have Bluemels on my 700c Appaloosa and it seems strange that the same fenders would fit well on a smaller wheel.

Thanks!

BTW

I have a spacer pushing the front of the front fender down against the rack as much I dare.

Yours sincerely,

I just installed some off the 700c x 55mm SKS fenders on a Ritchey with 650 x 47mm tires, which seem to run a little wider than expected. Came out great. Beyond the usual struggle to with finding the perfect bracket to mount the fender low enough at the fork crown and far enough back near the bb, the fender lines are good.
Better picture pending daylight…

Planet Bike makes some really nice aluminum fenders. And some chromoplastic(?) kind that I didn’t personally care for as much. They’re both very similar to the SKS fenders, but they have specific 650b sizes. I have the 700c ALX (aluminum) fenders on a fixed gear, and they’ve served me well for four years.
