Frameset

24”/60cm 1981 Trek 710 frameset (King Headset not included): $280. Can install a Tange Passage for $30. 531 throughout. 445mm Chainstays. 35mm tires fit fine with midreach brakes. 60cm Seattube (cc). 575mm Top Tube. 73.5 head angle. 73 seat angle.

This frame is the intersection the intersection of Rivendell and Jan Heine. Riv geometry but without an oversized tubing for that mystique planing. I love this frame so much I bought a second. Found a Rivendell and it feels silly to keep this as a space. 

Headset:

Chris King Black Sotto Voce Headset, 1” threaded. $200

Rare Sotto Voce in 1” threaded. Very good condition. All my 1” threaded bikes are more vintage and look better with silver. This feels perfect for a new Crust or Ronnie Romance build as well as the right vintage ride.

Wheelset:

Shimano/Mavic Open Pro 700c Wheelset. Well used but with lots of life. $120. Rim decals mostly removed. Dura Ace 7700 front hub and Ultegra 6600 rear. True and solid but priced as used. See pics for condition.

Handlebars:

Nitto 123 Track bars. Chromo. 42cm. $45

Tumbleweed Persuaders Steel Persuasion $85

Zipp Service Course 70 XPLR bars, 46cm: $35

On One Midge 25.4 OG Dirt Drops: $70

Cranksets:

Sugino XD 175 Silver (3x): $45 Each (I prefer 180mm)

Shimano CX70 175mm Crankset The rare hollowtech/110 bcd combo. Advertised at Ultegra quality but without the recalled formulation. $70 

Jersey:
Rapha Brevet Wool Blend XL, blue with reflective stripes. $40. Some pilling and a tiny hole on a back pocket that was mended. See pics.

Hub:

OG Phil Wood 36 hole front hub. A slight bit of lateral play but fully rideable. Wore the rim out. $35.

Tires all 700c: 

Rene Herse. Umtanum Ridge, Standard Casing. $110. 650b/55mm. Used but with the molding nobs still on even the center tread. Orange Seal residue and a bit of sidewall orange coloration.

Brakes

Pair TRP Spyes Short Reach (road), Post Mount. Good condition: $45

Thomson Elite Road 26.0 100mm 5 degree silver $45

Thomson Elite Road 26.0 110mm 5 degree silver $45

Shoes: 

New Shimano RX8/RX800 Gravel/XC size 47 Shoe. $120. Black Noir (black camo). I bought these because they seemed similar to the Recons I love. Then I just found more of those used.

Quoc XC Gran Tourer size 47 lightly used but with some toe wear. Original insoles with various instep inserts. $75

Lake MX237 size 47. $60. Some scuffing. Bought used but too wide for my foot. The previous owner shaved the center of the lugs down a bit to limit interference clipping in.
