Hello,
Curious to know what a complete Roadeo is expected to cost.
Thanks
Lyman

A new complete can easily top out at $45-5500 so I would expect to pay at least mid-2000 range for a well cared for example. I've seen a few go for less but that was before the current bike boom and before they essentially disappeared from the used market.

If you really want a Roadeo and find one in your size, grab it now!

I think they would be $1500-1800 in decent shape. They might sell fast in this market, but I don’t see the price going up that much. I’d think you might get someone to spend $2000 if it is high end parts.

IMO, the boom does not extend to high end classic and vintage bikes. I’d put a Roadeo as a classic.

Good luck,

I think I sold my Roadeo frame set her for a grand, maybe a little more. That was several years ago.

I saw someone was WTB a  63cm Roadeo recently.  I am also interested in scoping one out in that size if there is another one out there.  Thanks

Some data points for you:  sold a f/f/hs when I lived in the bay area, a 59cm, for 1100 or 1200, whatever I paid for it from CL or list member.
Got a 61 cm complete bike locally for $1500 (Rich wheels, ultegra brakes, DA bar end shifters, fu -uh-ugly black 105 crank) noodles, Nitto bits. I thought it was a real bargain. Traded f/f/hs for 61 cm Atlantis f/f/hs.

Mike SLO CA (by high or low, sell for same).

A similar datapoint. I knew that a 59 Roadeo would be perfect for me. At a time when I didn’t need it, a 59 very early Roadeo frameset came up on the list here for $1000, and I jumped on it. The seller claimed it had downtube shifter bosses but it turned out that what he meant was that it had downtube cable stops. For the miscommunication he gave me a discount.

I proceeded to make room for that Roadeo in my stable. Today it would take a lot more than I paid to shake it loose.
