I traded it via this list a couple of years ago for the 2012 Monocog, but I think the recipient has in turn since traded it on. Like a beau/belle wondering/curious about the girl/boy he/she dropped/dumped long/short while ago, I wonder what happened to this frameset (frame + fork + custom racks + fenders).

Can the present owner post photos of any present build?

Patrick Moore, whose 2020 Chauncey Matthews 2:1 is a geometric clone of the 2003 Curt.

Hi Patrick,

After getting it built several ways, I just realized it was too big for me. I sold it to a young man that drove to Grand Rapids, MI from fort Wayne, IN. I cannot find any of the correspondence from back then for a name. He checked back after a couple of weeks riding and  really liked the bike.
That is all I have.
Glad you are still riding the Monocog.

Thanks, Tom. Too bad you lost the correspondence, as I'd have liked to ask him his impressions and for a photo. Although I like my Matthews clone better than the 2003, I rode many happy miles on the 2003 and still feel nostalgic about it.

And, sorry it didn't work out for you. Very fortunately, the Monocog did with modifications.
