I don’t need this thing and the fact that I’ve been dragging my feet over it for 6 months is proof. So it’s free — see below — for anyone who cares to pay the nearest bike shop to pack and ship it.

Medium frame, with original (I think) bb assembly, headset and a seatpost; forget if the SP is OEM or aftermarket. Also a 6cm 45* (? — upjutter)  generic stem, Specialized Hover bar in 44, Tektro road levers (I think they’re Tektro; friend installed them),  nice red bar tape, clip-on fenders F & R, tho’ front has been bolted into upside-down star nut pounded into lower head tube — works much better than original rubber expanding plug.

Front wheel intact with upgraded ROAD BB7 caliper. No rear hub but I have the OEM matching Alex rim, will include the rear ROAD BB2 caliper, and you can pay me $73 gross via Paypal for that black new, never used Surly flip flop hub, no skewer or bolts, 32 holes to match the rim, AND I’ll throw in the spokes I bought sized to build up the wheel with the OEM rim and the Surly hub.

The frame is sound; the only modifications were rather crude but still effective ~ 1/4" dimples beat into the chainstays to reduce rubbing with a 72 mm knobby. Don’t worry, the tubing is so stout I doubt you will break the stays unless you weigh north of 250 and do a lot of jumps.

You claim, send me your address, and be patient. I’ll take it to the nearest LBS and give your their number to talk to and pay them for packing and shipping.

If you are really patient and I feel energetic, I’ll pack it and ship it myself, but you may wait a couple of months for this.

Claimants tell me if they (1) want the Surly hub and (2) are willing to wait for me to find a box, pack, and have Bike Flights or Ship Bike pick it up or would rather pay the bike shop to get it done faster.

Oh, if you remind me I’ll throw in a ACS (I think) 18 t (I think) freewheel, essentially new, and I can dig up a fixed cog in a 15 to perhaps 17 t or 18 t size; both fw and fc 3/32.

One last word: This thing will take 2.8s, squeeze in the rear; 2.6 easily, and 62s or so with full fenders if you care to install them. The clip ons don’t crowd even the 2.8s.
