Here is a bit of a delivery ride report, and a "thank you" note to those who have made a purchase!

I have ridden my Polyvalent to the post office a few times now, and I really enjoy trying to pack things efficiently (buyers, please report on my success) and carrying them on my bike. An Xtracycle Free Radical just popped up on Craigslist here, and I would really like to give it a try, both to observe its impact on riding and its carrying capacity. Do any of you have experience with the Free Radical? How does it compare to something like a front rack and a basket, or even something like a cargo fork? 

I took this photo because I love this typeface that seems to appear on various government buildings (what is the typeface called, where did it originate?), but I was also surprised to see just how much darker the sidewall of my rear tire has become over the past few months.

We love our xtra cycle free radical. Have an older model. Can't remember the name of the bags we have but they have three straps and expand out and can carry multiple watermelons. We can carry three kids or a grocery run for a family of 5. 

Your question about carrying capacity made me think of the attached post on Instagram (not mine).
