Must see bike shops in Philly

I'm going back to Philly for a college reunion, so I wanted know of must see bike shops in City of Brotherly Love.

Definitely check out Via Cycles, on Broads St south of City Hall. Haven’t been there since they moved but an enormous fascinating collection. Curtis is the real deal. Mostly if not only used bikes Steve

There are LOTS of bike stores in Philly, but these two — Keystone Bikes and Via bicycles—are my favorites. You might also want to check out Firth and Wilson Transport Cycles, even though I haven’t been there myself I’ve spoken with Simon and visit their booth at the Philly bike expo. 

 

Keystone works my Rivs, because the mechanics “understand” Rivs and are current or former Riv owners. I bring my commuting bike to Via Bicycle, who specialize in commuter and city older used steel frames bikes. Right after I got my Platy, I rode it past Via Bicycle and Curtis said “oh, a PLATYPUS” and admired it for several minutes.   I didn’t know he knew Riv!

I live three blocks from Via. If you need anything while here or if you want to go for a ride , just send me a PM. As long as your pbh is about an 83, I have a bike for you to borrow.

Keystone Bicycle Co. 100%. It's one of the better shops in the northeast for people who are into Rivendell and the accompanying things. Be sure to check it out, wonderful people that run it.

I was aware of Keystone, but I didn't realize it was in Philly.  This is gonna be an expensive trip.
