Sugino XD2 chainrings on a different crank?

Howdy folks.

I’ve pondered getting a Silver triple to replace the XD2 on my Joe Appa, for extra Riviness.  Looking at my current chainrings, I’m not sure they would be normal on a non-hidden bolt crankset 🤔

That pin on the big ring will not align with the new crank arm, and the non-tooth side shaping is not completely symmetrical.  It would work, of course, but in a kinda funky not slick manner.  Am I wrong?
