WTB: Cheap short threaded v-brakes/canti shoes

Like Riv sells but they're out of stock, does anybody have at least one pair of these or similar kicking around? The pricey and grippy long shoes I have on my Motolites now are a right bugger to pull the front wheel through, and I do this to load my (very long) custom in my car.

I cut some shoes short in my garage once. My garage smelled like burning rubber for the rest of the afternoon. :)

Hehe, I would but the "ebike" shoes I have now have metal holders. No cutting for me!

Joe, I think these are the same size as the ones Riv sells, just in the standard black or salmon KS compounds. Might be worth a try?

Kool Stop model #s KS-CTB / KS-CTSA in case you want to shop around.
