I'm actually shocked to see this. I've been thinking I should probably pass my Sam on, but haven't got around (maybe I didn't have the heart) to post it. It is a 51 Sam in black. Got it last summer just when they were running low and sounded the alarm that they were discontinuing the black. I've since picked up an Atlantis from the group and so am mainly riding that. I've attached a photo of one of its iterations. Let me know if this is what you were looking for.

That is about as nice of a Sam build I have ever seen. However I understand how as great as it is; it could get left behind for the magic of an Atlantis. If there had been a 67cm + Sam in Black I would own one because of my Joeitis; instead I have an embarrassing number of jumbo Rivendells at my disposal.

Seems like a potential dream match but financial factors may interfere in a win win bike deal. Good luck to you both.

Your build looks great, but I might consider the frame/fork by itself (assuming I don't stay permanently destitute from our tornado damage).

FYI: There's a Riv dealer who is selling a new 51cm Sam frame & fork in black for $1050 because he's moving his shop. I think he also has a 47; same price.

718 Cyclery is the dealer and the Sam frame they have is a 48. The complete they were selling is a 51.

Btw heads up and whatnot, they also have a green 45cm Clem L frame. Someone should hop on that, pronto!
