Rivmoot 2019 is the weekend of July 19-21.
I believe there is room for 30 people officially, and three cars. Justin August can confirm nights, number of sites, and total possible guests.

Details (Everyone is invited!):
Samuel P Taylor Park, at the Devil's Gulch Group Camps. That's in Marin County, California, in the woods near both the coast and Mount Tam (cradle of mountain biking). It's bikeable from SF and BART/Ferry/Bike-able from the East Bay.

I'm happy to lead a North Bay ride to/from SPT (Samuel P Taylor) by bike and SMART train. I live in Santa Rosa, but we can meet on the train.
We could convene at the Iron Horse Brewery in San Rafael to link up with people from the next train, if necessary. Route is TBD: probably Mill Valley / Mt Tam / Bo Ridge on the way in, and a deadhead run out Sir Francis Drake on Sunday.

What riding would people like to do out there? I imagine there will be some pretty epic loops, but also mellower tours of the cheese-making scene out in West Marin. For Saturday, I probably want to ride something Joe Bunik puts together. Can't get enough of those mines!

I like the proposal. Have done this ride a few times from SF. Mostly dirt but all tame. Usually rode up railroad grade, then traversed on pavement to BoRidge then down Shafter, swim at inkwells, off to STP.  Will be coming down from Healdsburg and likely catch the train too.

Looking forward to this!

I'm likely / able to drive over and haul-in necessary items to camp,
Friday afternoon and will ride a loop from there. Regrettably I need
to be home Saturday night, but will have all day to play so will start
cooking up a few ideas.

Philip, the only mining of note in the area, to my knowledge (which
I'm always up for exploring) occurred in Copper Mine Gulch,

I intend to train down from Sacramento area Friday morning, and could likely be in Mill Valley by noon and join on the Tam/BoFax portion of the ride.

I had floated the idea of a Porcupine/Sherwood Forest/Pine Mtn Truck Road/Bolinas Ridge loop for Saturday, but perhaps that is a bit much, especially if it is ridden on the way in on Friday.

There is some fun stuff out towards Pt Reyes, such as Inverness Ridge (singletrack and doubletrack) between Mt Vision and Limantour Road...possibly followed by an out n' back from Bear Valley.

Neil, a Pine Mountain / BoRidge loops sounds great, let's chat on that
as the weekend gets closer.

Any updates on this?  I saw the same question a couple of days ago on Justin's original post.  What's the status on number of campers?  Would be driving up so have the convenience & hassles of a car.
