favorite sturdy mtb rim brake rim

Hey channel! 
I'm putting together a poll of sorts of the people's pick for a rim brake rim that handles abuse really well. This past gravel event had me wincing going through rocky creek beds at speed on my 24h dainty road rims. Plus, after mounting, and remounting a pair of tubeless tires, it was much harder work the second time around to get things to seal, so having a second wheelset with dedicated tires would be nice.  

I'm eyeing velocity cliffhangers but am open to others.

Rhyno Lites for me also.  Mavic A719/T519's have also been flawless over hilly, rocky, rutty, and overall primitive local back roads. I have a set of Alex DM24 wheels I have not used, but I'm sure they'll be good also. Of course, the quality of the build has much to do with the qualifying a rim. If you ever read of rim reviews on a site like MTB review, most of the negatives stem from crappy wheel builds to begin with, then they fault the rim alone.

I like rims with thick sidewalls. I also use only tubes.

+1 on the Rhyno Lytes, comes with so many options for spoke count. Not available at 650b so I have Cliffhangers for this wheel size.

Another vote for Rhynolite.  Wide, beefy, cheap.  Really no downside.  Wish it were tubeless ready.
