It's too big for me or else I'd be interested. No relation to the ad.

Same! Anyone know what’s the max tire width on it?

It's listed as a custom, so you'll probably need to ask the seller to estimate max tire size unless they know it offhand.

It looks similar to a LongLow. Mine maxed out at ~33mm actual under fenders.

Someone will be happy with this bike.

Is anyone near Fort Collins that would be willing to facilitate? They are charging quite a bit to pack the bike for shipping!

Thanks,

I was trying to figure that out myself. Doesn't look to be that much.

I wish people would stop painting their names on top tubes. Think about the second hand market!

Funny how reactions differ. I bought a near NOS Waterford RS-12 off this list with a prior owner name on the top tube, 'Doris Rodriguez". That just became the bikes' name for me. "I think I'll take old Doris for a spin Dear." "Okay Honey!" I love it. Btw, the '99 bike is essentially a Rivendell Long Low with regular 753 tubing, not the heavy wall that RBW used. Even has the extended HT. Waterford uses a simpler seat cluster arrangement which is not as pretty as the RBW.

I wish people would stop using "infamous" incorrectly. Or at least I hope they are:

"Boasting their infamous style, design and quality craftsmanship, this is the epitome of bicycle culture."

Designating a particular bicycle as the "epitome" of something as broad and nebulous as "bicycle culture" also makes little sense. Nice color though.

Infamous - doesn’t that mean *more than* famous??
