those are ruffy tuffy not roly poly..i seem to recall a difference

More rubber at the center track to reduce flatting, thereby a little heavier.

I thought the Ruffy Tuffys also had some kind of flat prevention anti-puncture strip or casing built into them.

Also keep in mind that the Ruffy-Tuffy (and maybe the Roly-Poly; not sure) were made in both steel and kevlar beads, so make sure you're aware of what you're buying. I think the steel bead Ruffy-Tuffy was sold (only?) on the complete Romulus bikes of the day.

If you can make do with the puncture belted Ruffy Tuffy, Planet-X Bike in the UK distributes them in both black and brown sidewall, and yes, they are folding. They normally sell Jack Brown blues and greens too but I ran across a cycling forum somewhere where someone posted that they had them at a reasonable price and all the tires were bought up, for the time being. They do have Jack Brown 25.5mm race tires though ...... those weren't ravaged as that size doesn't suit the trend du jour.
