Looks like an incredible ready-to-roll bike ready for some fast credit-card tours this summer...if I hadn't just built mine up just like this I'd get it.

Just a note on the SP (Shutter Precision) hub that does not bear on the question of restorative justice.

SP hubs are not bad; I've owned 2, and they're used by pros and semi pros -- Lael Wilcox used an SP with her K-Lite on her record continental divide win (beating the men, like Beryl Burton) a few years ago, and K-Lite spec'd an SP with my dynamo light system when I bought it 7 years ago or so.

They're better than the Shimano dynohubs, IME and from what I read about drag and power, certainly in weight and looks, tho' my information is several years old.

But SONs, especially the extra light low drag ones are still the industry standard and do cost about twice what the SPs cost -- the SP's don't cost under $100; more like $150+.

James,
Bike got here with no major damage  even with the poor packing job of the shop. The whole thing was flopping around in the box and I think it got a couple more dings but nothing major.
My problem is with the front wheel. I was led to believe it had a Schmidt SON hub.
That was one of the deciding factors for me. I was going to use the front wheel on another bike. It is in fact a Tiawan made SP hub that I have never heard of. Cost under $100. SON hubs are around $300.
I would like a price adjustment of the difference between the two hubs cost.
I have attached a photo of a SON hub compared to the SP on the Roadini.

Thanks Patrick.  Glad to learn about SP hubs.  It worked great on the roading while I had it.  I mislabelled the hub in the FS post and Richard and I have resolved the matter.
