Hello all! I just sent an email to Rivendell just to see if they have any forks or know anyone around the Spokane Washington area that can help.

I bought my Clem from someone here on the forum and the fork was crooked enough to bother me, likely anyone. Possibly it was damaged in shipping but it seems highly unlikely because the front brake had no need for adjustment. It sits at least 3mm to the non drive side and with a little tilt that way as well.

I had a local shop check it out and he was very happy with himself about fixing it so I didn’t mention that it was (almost) exactly the same. $20 to the local guy didn’t bother me but I was a bit bummed that it wasn’t fixed as well as he thought it was. To his credit, it is slightly less tilted but still not centered.

I love this bike and want to invest in a nice new wheelset (because, tubeless) but I want his issue sorted first.

Is here a chance anybody here know someone who can help get it straightened?

Thank you for any help!

A picture just because I love seeing everyone’s bikes!

provided the fork is only bent to the side it's not terribly difficult to do yourself. I had good luck at my LBS as well but the head mechanic was a hobby frame builder so was quite good at alignment. If there's any local frame builders, they also should be able to cold set your forks easy enough.

Thank you for the reply! If I had a bit more knowledge and something stable to place the fork in I might give it a shot. I’m sure it would be fine if a local frame builder has time. I was messaged directly to try Elephant bikes, so I might give them a call depending on what Riv says when they get back to me.

The fork has some decent wear and a bit of rust that I wouldn’t mind a new one if one exists or the cost isn’t crazy.
