WTB: Front Rack for Wald Basket

I’m looking for a nice front rack for the Wald basket on my Clem.

Not looking for anything particularly fancy, as I’m planning on adding a rear rack for my panniers later on once I’m commuting again.

If you're looking for nothing particularly fancy, check out the Soma Lucas 3 rack. I just put one on my Xtracycle and it's great for basket support, either a Wald 137 or 139.

This has been mentioned elsewhere on some related threads, that the Wald basket supports that often come with the basket are a pretty good option. Not as fancy as a rack, but maybe that's a bonus?

Please do post pics of whatever you install (especially the Lucas). I’m also looking to put a Rack on my Clem, and the Soma seems unbeatable for the price.

Will do. I picked up the SOMA demi porteur rack via the aforementioned iBOB thread for a great price. I'll snap a photo and upload here once it's installed.

Here's the Lucas 3 rack on my Xtracycle conversion with a Wald 137 (medium) strapped to it. The image below that is from Will's weekly Riv email update a few weeks ago with a similar set up on a budget Jamis.

I just finished building up what I'm calling a budget-Riv for my partner, and I used a Velo Orange Constructeur rack that I picked up cheaply on fleabay with a Wald basket there. I really like the way it looks, and it seems to work great. I can post pictures tomorrow if that would be helpful.

I have the large front rack from Rivendell. Looks great. I like the larger size compared to their other offerings. Most importantly, it is rated for weight in the low 20 lb range - something I need.
