Lots of nifty Suntour Superbe Pro bits, I remember when that stuff was available in the Readers in the very early days. That's a nice bike of indeterminate size.

Riv folks, Is this a good value?

Some would pay that, but I would not. I’ve got a nearly identical bike, though larger, and while it is nice, I cannot imagine it selling for that much, nor would I pay.

FWIW, I bought mine dented. The dent almost immediately turned into a crack, so I had the tube replaced and got the frameset pc’ed. I have maybe $1k into it and I kinda regret that one.

Best regards,
Matt in Oswego, IL

That's an interesting sale. The seller obviously knows the bike isn't a run-of-the-mill old bike with the asking price. But yet, the seller expended no effort to clean up the bike for sale, with dirt on the headtube, and torn handlebar tape (amongst others) as low-hanging fruit. Strangely though, the chain looks to be quite clean. I don't know what to make of it.

All of his other listings are non-bike. He seems to have a fair idea what an early Riv is, but this looks like an estate sale.
