I'm pretty sure you already know this, but they do have that color on the website in stock. I'm all about trying to save a couple bucks on used gear, though...

You got it! I'm kind of on the fence about a Banana Sack or the X-Small saddle bag so I've been on the website adding them to my cart and taking them out a lot the last few days.

Banana sack holds slightly more and opens wider for easier access.  For me xs saddle sack was perfect for flat fit stuff keys phone snack for summer rides. It holds a surprising amount. But as soon as I needed  just a few more items like windbreaker gloves and earmuffs the lack of a zip around for easier  access and the smaller volume did me in and I got banana sack.

The top of a strawberry container fits perfectly in the bottom of the xs sack and does a good job keeping the bag from sagging. I really liked mine.

Good info! I have a rear rack and roll-up panniers that I use to commute (laptop, books, etc...) that I can use for a sweater, sack lunch, gloves, etc... I'm wanting the XS sack for exactly what you describe...flat fix tools, snack, phone, wallet for rides where I want to take off the panniers and just go for an easy hour or so ride.

Enthusiastic X-Small Saddle sack user here. Sufficient storage for just what you describe carrying on an hour or so ride.

Best,

Awesome insight, Rich...I'm definitely on board for an X-Small Saddle Sack!
