Hi all....in my stable of bikes I have a Bob Jackson touring.  As you may have heard, they are closing up shop. I managed to buy  a  cast  head badge for my bike to replace the decal, and i noticed the head badge on my Rivendell Quickbeam is attached with some sort of adhesive (i  think...)... The Bob Jackson  badge came with two very small screws.... does anybody have an idea about what sort of adhesive The guys at Rivendell use?  I could drill and tap the head tube but i am not confident enough to try!

According to the PDF catalog on their website, Rivendell uses "double stick tape" to put the headbadges on. Maybe some digging on 3M's website might turn up a good solution.,

And make sure to stick it to the headbadge first, then trim away any unsightly tape while you've got the edges in easy sight of your x-acto blade, and stick that sucker willy nilly!*  As opposed to on the bike frame first, which would lead to frustrations, or incomplete adhesion depending on how much tape you had sticking out or sunken in**

GoPro uses 3M VHB 4991 tape on their mounts. That would be plenty strong for a head badge and should also be weather resistant.
