My GBW is built perfectly for classic mountain biking (aka hillybiking), with or without a load. The long wheelbase is brilliant. The forces involved with MTBing, even without doing stupid stuff, can be significant. I'd trust Grant and ride with abandon. Well, that's what I am doing, actually. Grin.
With abandon,
Patrick
I love the idea of the Susie and hope I can somehow procure an XL. A slightly lighter tubing spec might add an iota of suspension and take off an iota of weight. I’m most intrigued by the frame design (sort of Mtn Mixte) and the ability to run big tires. It would be my first MTB in ~15yrs. I’m within the weight limit, which I suspect is conservative. Cheers to the prospect of Susie and Wolbis!
