FS: Quickbeam 56. $900

Sorry for the second recent sale “ad”, I really do read/learn from this group, just never needed to post!  I’m working on a project and this sale will help fund it- it does leave me with two Rivendells I actually ride.

  The frame is in great condition, was interesting to find the sticker serial number- maybe at this price point Panasonic wasn’t interested in stamping them?  There is a small paint chip on the right fork leg near the dropout, visible in a photo.  There is also an area of paint wear on the inner aspect of the left chainstay, looks like the tire rubs a bit from the wheel being slightly misaligned (hadn’t noticed it before).

  I’m the second owner, would guess less than a 100 miles on it (really a bit too big for me, I’m more a 54).  The previous owner replaced the rear wheel with a Shimano nexus 7-speed hub, works great.  Paul cantilever breaks, Nitto bars/stem/seatpost, Brooks Flyer Special seat.  Two Blackburn water bottle cages.  Kickstand.  Mavic rims, Pasela tires.  Suzhou front hub.  Can include the wire basket on the rear rack, but would likely be separate shipping item, not worth it?  

  Condition issues- stored in Cape Cod, the marine air is hell on metal.  As you can see from photos the racks have some pitting, the levers have some corrosion, and some of the bolt/hardware has some rust.  I believe this is reflected in the price.

  This is a great working bike as is, not perfect.  Frame is really nice for age, however.
