That bike's really nice, I'd love to have a feeler.

Good price for a nice bike. It's definitely too big for me, but based on the saddle height in that picture, it doesn't look to big for you. Obviously, you know better than me if it doesn't fit, but out of curiosity, what about feels too big? Not enough standoff height?

I’ve never seen a 68cm Atlantis. I’m curious, do you know the saddle height in the photo?

Hello everyone,

I'm looking to sell my 68 Rivendell Atlantis in the near future. I really like this bike and have done everything from rough mixed terrain rides to a 200k brevet on it but I have come to terms with the fact that it's just a smidge too big for me. I'm currently building up a smaller frame and would like to sell this bike complete.

Here's an older picture, current build is not exactly the same...I'm in the process of putting the 48 noodles (pictured below) back on the bike. It currently has some, not very riv-ish, black 31.8 bars with an adapter stem on it.
Bike is in good shape but has "beusage" scrapes, scratches, some slight surface rust (primarily on kickstand plate)
I can be flexible on the build as I have a good amount of spares but build is essentially
68 Atlantis
Cliffhanger wheelset with XRT M950 rear hub and Shimano dynamo front ( I think the drag on the front hub seems high but others have said it's normal, not sure if it's an issue but I think worth mentioning. This is only when lights are on)
48 noodles with a nice vintage Salsa Stem
TRP drillium levers or Modolo non-aero levers
9 speed barends (or I can do silver downtube shifers)
Sugino 39/25 crankset
2.1 Nano tires
Nitto post
Paul cantis with purple old style moon units
XT rd (I had this on to run shermego shifting, I think I have a XTR M950 to match the rear hub)
Also includes a set of Honjo fenders
No lights, bags, saddle, or pedals

I also think I have a Haulin Collin rack that I could possibly add.
I was in the garage starting to swap the bars back and I figured I'd post it as a feeler and if someone was interested we could talk about bars, stems, levers, ect before I put it back together. If I get no bites this way I will finish it up, take proper photos and list it again.

I am thinking $1800 complete give or take depending on the final build. Local sale preferred of course but I will ship with professional packing and insurance at buyers expense. I'm located on the coast 15 min south of San Francisco

Thanks!

Kurt

It does actually fit great when I'm riding it but with big tires there's just not enough stand over for off road riding. It fits exactly how I wanted, just the right amount of post showing for a correct look imo, but not enough room for unplanned off road dismounts.
