Tires haven’t stretched yet, but they fit and I think they will just fit after the stretching.

I don't think I'd be comfortable with those clearances, but I understand the desire to test the limits in search of better traction and more fun.

The photos are mainly to show how nice the tires are. They don’t show the gap. There is space, but yes, this is certainly the closest one should get. I like when I find a bike’s clearance limit.

as long as we're on the subject of clearance, has anyone tried schwalbe g one all around 57mm on a joe app (mine's a 62cm frame)? the g one speeds are a bit too tight for me, but the all arounds may be a tad smaller?

Update: taken on a real ride, I feel those 700x50 Cazadero TC’s will stretch and be too tight at the chainstay, and I doubt I’ll keep using them on the Hillborne.

But there’s a piece of data for Hillborne owners. The tire that is just on the cusp between fitting and not.
