I found an email in my inbox this morning and the link does take me to the Brooks England site.  Most of these are “specials,” the ones with the copper rivets in a few styles.  Very pretty colors.   Available Nov 28, 5pm GMT, which is 12noon on the east coast.   https://www.brooksengland.com/saddles/unearthed.html?_kx=4ZwgdJ-d5LZRJRy_wuYq5vxWYPElNLqOycWG_9FfAHE.TxwgrB

Unearthed: A Colourful Black Friday Capsule

In 2025, we uncovered an assortment of leather saddle tops in our factory from a variety of manufacturing processes and periods. Rather than see them go to waste, we made them into a vibrant limited release batch of leather saddles. The saddle models and colours are defined by the tops we found.

During what proved to be a long-overdue tidy-up of the Brooks England factory in Smethwick, we uncovered a proper hoard of valuable goods.

No, not J.B. Brooks’ fabled hidden stash of bullion, something far more interesting: a cache of leather saddle tops in various colours. These pieces were – for whatever reason – waylaid on their path through our finishing process. They remained incomplete, and were forgotten about. Until now.

As a colourful alternative to the dreary monochrome of Black Friday, we turned those leather tops into the saddles they were always destined to be.

This Unearthed capsule collection is offered in limited numbers, and only on the models the tops were originally cut for. This leather is exceedingly rare and unrepeatable.

No more saddles can be produced than the tops that were found. Exclusivity not by design, but by discovery.

Available 28th November from 5pm GMT

Really love the B17 special in mustard.

I've got a green B17 special from about 15 years ago, and remarkably it's stuck around while other saddles have come and gone. Thanks to it only receiving about a 3rd of my ride time over the years, getting regular proofide treatments and coverage in wet conditions I've kept it in decent nick.

Hope some of you out there grab one of these, they feel made for more eccentric frame colors!

I love the colors, but $350 or €350 for steel-railed Brooks saddles in special colors before any tariff or shipping??? Yikes!

I’m not interested in the polychrome collection of Brooks saddles, but I am interested in learning of shipments from the UK incur tariffs and additional shipping or broker fees. Those of you who buy one of these saddles from the US, please report. Thanks.

Well...over $400 USD according to this: https://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/convert/?Amount=350&From=EUR&To=USD

I don't even want to know what the rate is in Canadian loonies :(

I agree that this is a fun release from Brooks and I REALLY agree that charging literally double the price of their standard colors is way too high a premium. Especially since I know these dyes tend to fade pretty significantly with use.  I could see an extra $50.  Nice to look at, though!

You can change the geography and currency. These are $350 in US dollars. Yes, still pricey.

My experience with coloured Brooks saddles is that the colour doesn't last. I have B17s in green and grey, both purchased about 20 years ago, and after considerable use both of them are showing that the colour was applied over the top of a normal black saddle, as black now shows through in the areas of greatest wear.

Well, I like a B68, not a B17. And it’s a good thing, because Charlie would REALLY like that mustard saddle. Alas, he will have to keep wearing is standard issue honey B68,.
