You: Have a Leo Roadini build concept in the works and don't have a wheelset and aren't quite ready to sink $1000 into a blingy set of HOW wheels.  You know what you want: a good reliable set of wheels that somebody bought 15-20 years ago and never used.

Me: Inherited the task of liquidating my dear dear friend Juel-Ann's ~15 year old unused road bike.

Juel-Ann was never much of a cyclist, and her ex-husband kind of went crazy setting up a flat bar road bike for her.  It's a lousy Frankenstein build, and it has bad ex-husband juju, so the best thing for me to do was part it out, and cleanse the bad decisions from the universe, spiritual, emotional and mechanical.

This wheelset is pretty darn nice, and essentially unused at all.  Good Japanese Shimano 105 hubs (Black).  Good Mavic CXP21 rims with machined sidewalls (Black).  130mm OLD in back, 100mm in front.  32 hole front and rear (black spokes).  The freehub is compatible with any 9sp or 10sp cassette.  You'd need to run a spacer with 7/8sp.  Genuine original Shimano skewers included (black).  A pair of Avocet 700x25 tires and tubes are also included in the sale.  You could buy Rivendell's basic 105/Velocity A23 wheelset for $600 and those would be sensational, with a slightly wider rim than these CXP21s.  I'm asking $300 for this wheelset.  I'd prefer to find a local Bay Area pickup or delivery.  I will consider shipping at the buyer's expense.   The last wheelset I shipped cost $60.  Every penny of that $300 goes back to dear Juel-Ann

I'm in TN and will gladly buy those if you don't find someone local.
Cheers,
Andrew

Thanks Andrew

Let's give the locals the weekend, and I'll reach out to you Monday if nothing transpires.

Give them as long as you'd like. I support the path of least resistance!
