Trangia fuel in California?

Looks like California is tightening up on VOC’s and has caused denatured alcohol to be taken off hardware store shelves.
What are affected people using to fuel their Trangias now?

  REI carries Crown brand Alcohol Stove Fuel for $7.95 per quart.

Last year when I was mixing up shellac for my handlebar tape, I couldn't find any 95% alcohol in my hardware stores, and ordered some from www.shellac.net, which was $4.00 per quart than the REI stove fuel.

Looks like there might have been a run on alcohol fuels (except the O’Reilly had HEET).
Berkeley REI, El Cerrito Big 5, and the local hardware stores all had their shelves cleared for some time, but I was just told on the phone that at REI Crown is in stock again.

I wasnt aware of this. i just spent a good amount of time getting my ideal alcohol stove setup perfected, and i live in california.... 

Time to stock up on an alternative, i guess.
