Running 26" on a Susie/Clem meant for 650b?

Morning all - does anyone have a 650b Susie or Clem that's been built up around 26" wheels? My assumption is that the lower bottom bracket might make the ride slightly "weird" but curious if that was the case or if there were any other notable issues with it. I've got a great 26" wheelset I'd like to continue getting life out of but not at the expense of ride quality.

With cantilever or v brakes, it’s impossible to run smaller wheels unless you relocate the studs.
