I bought this bike a few months ago and quickly fell in love with it. It's reached the final form so I took some pics and did a little write-up. Just keep scrollin' :)

Cheers,

It's a great looking bike.

The nut part of your Nitto Stem handlebar pinch bolt is installed backwards.  You should flip that over.

Well I'll be. Thanks for the heads-up, it's fixed now.

Andrew,

Very, very nice Tesch!  But, I must say, even better images.  I kept scrolling and scrolling, enjoying your journeys.  Those gorgeous curvy roads.  Two thumbs up!!

Best regards,

Thanks, Jeff!
I took a pretty long photography break but I'm starting to feel the itch again. I have a hard time simply taking pictures of my rides, it turns into going on rides to take pictures which for me, isn't the point of riding. I think that's the great thing about film cameras since you don't get a redo, you just gotta ride on, but I don't have that equipment...yet. Digital's so much easier to upload and edit, too. Hmph.

My middle brother's passion is photography, and yes, he takes amazing images, too - he loves the fall colors.  Your photos of summers in Tennessee are inspirational: my wife and I just might have to plan a cyclo-touring trip to check out those sights.

I recall my older sister buying Paul Simon's "There Goes Rhymin' Simon" LP (yeah, 33-1/3rd) BITD.  Kodachrome - a classic!!

Later,

Jeff

Thanks for sharing Andy! Beautiful build. I’m also in the Nashville area and (mostly) a vintage bike enthusiasts. I would love to know more about your favorite routes.

Love the bike and the photography.

Really nice bike and images!

Those shots illustrate why I wondered a good bit beyond where I should have with my RB-1 while in Northwest Arkansas. Sometimes the power of places is more attractive than how you get there, so it's whatever gets you there. My places were often unpaved so my objective mode is 650B with a dynamo. I needed to lower the frequency of changing/patching tubes of my Rambouillet's 700 x 32s when out on trips (that's when you go places, "rides" can be done on rollers in the basement or front porch).

Andrew,

Very nice bike and photographs. 1" steerer die-hard? Yep, just south of you in GA. Similar back roads here but an hour or so drive to get there. Or, 3-4 hours by bike.
Thanks for your post. Looking forward to spending some time scrolling through more of your images.

Best,
Rich in ATL
