Retirement project #1 is to get the Bombadil back on the road.

I have had the rear wheel on the truing stand for months. I had laced it wrong and needed to disassemble and relace. It is a polished 48 spoke 650B Velocity Cliffhanger on an NOS (New Old Stock) Phil Wood small flange 7 speed freewheel hub, 4-cross Wheelsmith double butted spokes. Velocity Velo Plugs (no tape) NOS Suntour Winner Pro freewheel, 7 speed, 12-34. I have had the freewheel for at least 7 years. Paul skewer. 650B x 57 (27.5 x 2.25) Schwalbe G-One tire with Schwalbe SV-21 tube.

Rear wheel is done!

Laing - what gauge spokes are you using on that 48 spoke wheel?
