If you live in the SF Bay Area or happen to visit the East Bay, and would enjoy the inspiration of an absolute Kandy Kolored Klown of a Sam Hillborne, then give Blue Heron a visit. I was in buying a BBT-18 bottom bracket tool and it caught my eye. It's a demented tapestry of mixed up anodized colors, but it totally works. I didn't ask the price but it's for sale. I also didn't photograph it. Go have a look!

Jordan of Blue Heron has a Platy that is all ano-ed out, too. I bet this Sam is his work.

Could be! The chainrings and maybe the crank arms themselves have been changed and are brightly anodized also. Maybe the pedals are also wilder.
