New Tires

I was just about to spring for RH Juniper Ridge tires for the Clem. I was interrupted by the sudden availability of a S83 seatpost along with a B67 saddle - both gently used. This negative impact on my "upgrades" budget had me looking at less expensive alternatives to the Rene Herse tires. On trusted advice I decided to give these a try; Panaracer Gravelking SS, 650b x 48mm, same as the Junipers. These two tires cost me slightly less than one of the RH tires, including shipping, on sale. I installed them yesterday & hope to give them a go today. I hope they ride as good as they look.

Gravelking SS tires on the Clem are very good. 3.5 hour mixed surface ride & they were so nice. Same for the B67. No padding, no soreness, no numbness. And no numb hands or sore wrists. Just a really fun ride.
