I was on a leisurely ride on my Roadeo in the East Bay hills yesterday evening.  There were lots of folks out.  Among the bikes I saw there were quite a few Rivish and a few genuine Rivendells.  One was a bright fire engine red Rivendell Glorious.  Given the obsession that BBDD has shared for a red Rivendell step through, it got my attention.

Careful Biil. Don't be accused of inciting murder, cause I'll wager that owner is in the "pry it from my cold dead hands" department..

The red Glorius I found for my wife a few weeks ago certainly falls into that category!

Bill, why you gotta do me this way? You took exactly zero pictures of this lovely machine? You just left us to dream about it but never see it? I mean, I might have had a full interview with this lucky Glorius rider!

Well, the good news is you can just pedal back there tomorrow and go find her again. Conduct a proper interview. Bike selfies. I mean, that’s the plan, right?
In fun,
Leah

I imagine that the one that was for sale on Craigslist. One size too small for Leah; I came close to buying it myself, but I ride the same size she does. 😕
Probably, would have still bought it, but first a tornado blew some trees down in my yard then I got laid off. Sounds like it went to a good home.
But, with no pictures, did it ever really happen?
