Now you would think Your Pal Joe - the guy who usually answers arcane small parts WTB posts with "oh yeah, I have that in a stash somewhere - would have two of those cable stops that go on dt shifters bosses. But alas I have one stop and one Problem Solvers cap to set up a 1x drivetrain, which means I sold a bike with the OTHER cable stop and cap for a 1x drivetrain. Anybody rocking a 1x still have your extra stop thingy?

Don't they come in specific lefts and rights? All the ones I have do - at least if you want to have the cable entering the stop on the lower side of the downtube. I suppose you could put a left stop on the right or vice versa, but that would probably lead to the inner cable rubbing on the downtube as it wraps around from the top side of the DT to the cable guide on the underside of the BB.

Joe B,
LMk I can get one to you as well. Then you'll just need to locate a
third -- and build up a 2nd bike. ;-)

I have Joe’s third. What is the next bike plan Joe?

Sincerely,

PS. Let me know if you changed your mind about the fancy stem to match your seat post on the Frank.

Thanks everybody, Conway has me hooked up. Don't send any extras that will have me chasing a new bike to build around two cable stops!

Ryan, that may happen. I'm not a fan of those aggravating shims I would need to make it the lugged one work, but I just liberated the stem on my FJS and plopped it on the custom. We'll see!
