This Brooks 5J9 Leather Bicycle Saddle is currently on eBay. I personally have never seen this model of saddle before. The seller has no background information on it.

Does anyone herein have any information about this saddle ?

I am not interested in purchasing the saddle. I am just curious about it. It is most definitely for upright riding.

It’s a B72, the 5J9 numbers are a serial. 🙂very rare, maybe.

Brooks just re-issued the B 72 but only in brown and black leather. Also, the new rails are black, not like the chrome ones on the eBay saddle.   The one on eBay looks like it’s honey colored leather; very pretty.
